About Us

Hey! We're Lauren and Ryan Busby, the mom and dad of Dad's Lawncare. We are long-time Hoosiers who moved from Indy to Zionsville a few years ago, and quickly fell in love with this community. We started Dad's Lawncare after many nights sitting on our back patio, dreaming of building a business of our own that one day our three young kids would be proud of. After buying an old work truck and some lawn equipment, we threw up the "open" sign and became small business owners.

Our goal is simple: Do surprisingly good work with remarkably good service for our community. You know those businesses that actually shock you because they are so good? That's who we want to be. 

Life Outside the Lawn

When we aren't out working on a neighbor's property, Lauren enjoys cooking, planning our next family vacation, or squeezing in a workout at Burn Boot Camp. Ryan is likely logging miles with the Zionsville Run Club, wrestling with the kids, or out in the woods on one of his kooky dad hobbies, like mushroom hunting. You’ll find the whole family at Traders Point Christian Church on Sundays if you want to come say hi.
